Valpo's student-run radio station, WVUR, 95.1 FM, has announced they will broadcast 23 home and road softball games this season, either online at www.sportsjuice.com or over the WVUR airwaves. All live broadcasts on WVUR will also be available online at www.valpo.edu/athletics.

The 2006 broadcast season kicks off March 22, when the station will broadcast a Valpo road game live for the first time in program history, carrying the Crusaders' matchup at Purdue live on www.sportsjuice.com. Other season highlights include home games against conference foes Oakland, Centenary and UMKC, and meetings with regional rival Notre Dame and 2005 Women's College World Series participant DePaul.

The Crusader softball team (3-5) continues play at the Rebel Spring Games in Orlando, Fla. Thursday afternoon, taking on La Salle at 1:20 p.m. and Robert Morris (Pa.) at 5:00 p.m.
