Valparaiso University's men's swimming and diving team has been picked to finish in fifth place at the Mid-Continent Conference Championships according to the preseason poll released on Thursday evening.

The Crusaders garnered four points in the poll. Oakland, the six-time defending conference champion was picked to win for the seventh straight year, while Centenary was selected second. Western Illinois was picked third and IUPUI was tabbed fourth.

The Mid-Con Championships will be held February 16-18 on the campus of IUPUI in Indianapolis, Ind..
