The Valparaiso softball team will host its 2006 softball camps Saturday, October 7 at the Valparaiso University Softball Field.

The Crusaders will be hosting two camps, one for girls age 8-13 from 9:00 a.m. ? 12:00 p.m. and another for youngsters 14-18 years old from 1:00 ? 4:00 p.m. Campers will be instructed in every aspect of the game including defense, throwing, batting and baserunning. All participants will also receive a complimentary camp T-shirt and a DVD of all camp drills.

Valpo Head Coach Randy Schneider will be joined by assistants Danny Amling and Eric Breece and members of the Crusader softball team as camp instructors.
