Results

Emilie Marsicek (Spalding, Mich./Carney-Nadeau) won the shot put Friday at the Gregory Invitational in Naperville, Ill., while Melanie Wilson (Saint Louis, Mo./Rosati-Kain) finished third in the triple jump.

Marsicek registered a mark of 44'4” for her event victory in the shot put, beating a field of 10 other competitors. Wilson leapt 38'0 3/4” in the triple jump for her third-place showing, her second-best effort of the year in the event.
