Valparaiso University women's basketball coach Keith Freeman has announced the signing of Raegan Moore to a National Letter of Intent to play for the Crusaders beginning in the fall.

Valparaiso University women's basketball coach Keith Freeman has announced the Crusaders' 2009-2010 schedule which includes many as seven games against teams that were in the NCAA Tournament this past year as well as three other games against teams from major conferences.

Valparaiso University’s women’s basketball games against Detroit and Wright State scheduled for the Athletics-Recreation Center in February have each been moved back one day.

The Valparaiso University women’s basketball program will host its 14th annual Fall Coaches’ Clinic on October 10-11 at the Athletics-Recreation Center.  The event will feature five collegiate head coaches as well as a high school coach.

Valparaiso University’s women’s basketball program, known for their success both on the court and in the classroom, finished the 2007-2008 school year ranked 24th in the nation in NCAA Division I for team grade point average.  This is the 10th straight season the Crusaders’ team has been ranked in the top-25 on the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Academic Honor Roll.  The Crusaders finished 12th in the country for Division I in team grade point average one year ago in 2005-2006.
