The Valparaiso University football team has announced that it will now open the 2009 season against Saint Joseph’s (Ind.) on the road in Rensselaer, Ind. as opposed to at Brown due to other scheduling considerations.  Kickoff is slated for 12 p.m.

The Crusaders and Pumas will now meet at Brown Field during the 2010 season instead.  Valpo’s home opener is now slated for September 26 against Carthage beginning at 1 p.m.
