Heavy rains in the Murray, Ky. area have left Miller Memorial Golf Course unplayable for Monday, so the Valparaiso University women’s golf team will have to wait another day to open their 2011 spring season.

The Crusaders, slated to compete in the MSU NewWave Communications Classic hosted by Murray State, will now have their season-opening event shortened to 18 holes on Tuesday instead of a 36-hole event.  Tuesday’s start time has also been pushed back to a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start.
