Due to heavy rains in the Northwest Indiana area, Tuesday’s baseball game scheduled for Emory G. Bauer Field between Valparaiso and Purdue has been canceled.

At this time the Crusaders and Boilermakers do not have plans of making up the non-conference contest.  This is the second straight Tuesday game Valpo has lost due to rain, as the Brown and Gold’s contest at IPFW last week was also canceled due to the inclement weather.

First place Valpo (17-22, 9-3) returns to Horizon League action on Saturday and Sunday at Emory G. Bauer Field to host doubleheaders against Butler and Cleveland State respectively.  First pitch both days is slated for noon.
