Head coach Jim Daugherty’s men’s tennis squad will compete in four events during the fall as Valparaiso University has announced its 2011 fall schedule.

The Crusaders will open Sept. 16-18 in Peoria, Ill. competing at the Bradley Invitational before heading to Ohio for the Wright State/Dayton Invitational one week later.

Valpo will host its annual Alumni Tournament exhibition match during Homecoming weekend on Oct. 1 in one of the most popular events during the fall slate.  All Crusader alums are invited back to participate in the event.

The fall schedule wraps up Oct. 13-16 as the Crusaders will take part in the ITA Regional Tournament held in Columbus, Ohio.

Daugherty returns seven letterwinners from last year’s squad and has added a pair of freshmen to the roster for 2011.
