Valparaiso bowling head coach Matt Nantais announced today the Crusaders’ schedule for the 2012-2013 campaign, highlighted by the fourth annual Crusader Classic, to be held at Inman’s in Valparaiso on Nov. 9-11.

The season opens for the Crusaders this weekend at the McKendree Duals/S.I. Elite, hosted by McKendree University in Belleville, Ill.  The two-day tournament begins on Saturday, Oct. 27.  Valpo will also travel to a tournament hosted by Fairleigh Dickinson before returning home to defend their Crusader Classic crown from last season.  The Crusaders close out the calendar year by competing in the Track Kat Classic, hosted by Sam Houston State, before taking a break for the holidays.

Following the start of the new year, six more tournaments are on the docket for the Crusaders, as they will pay visits to tournaments hosted by Arkansas State, Kutztown, Prairie View A&M, Alabama A&M, Central Missouri and Vanderbilt over the first three months of 2013.  The NCAA Championships are being held in Detroit, Mich. this year, with the nation’s top eight teams competing Apr. 11-13.
