Valparaiso University head softball coach Randy Schneider has added two more signees to his 2004 recruiting class. Joining the Crusaders in the fall will be Stacy Adamski and Carly Rossner.

Adamski is a shortstop from Saint John, Ind. She led Lake Central High School to the Class 4A state championship, tying the game with a hit and eventually scoring the game-winning run. In addition, Adamski was a First Team All-State selection and a North/South All-Star.

?We are excited to pick up Stacythis late in the summer. Here is a quality kid who has been in championship situations having participated in three state championship games," Schneider said.

Rossner played third base for Andrean High School where she led the Northwest Indiana area hitting over .500. A native of Griffith, Ind. she also earned First Team All-State accolades and was a North/South All-Star.

?Carly will be a great fit for Valparaiso softball. She brings leadership and hard work and has all the intangibles to be successful her first year," said Schneider.

?Carly and Stacy round out a very athletic recruiting class for the future of Valparaiso softball ? a class that has seven First Team All-State players and a Junior College All-American."
