April Showers Force Saturday Softball Cancellation

Mother Nature finally claimed a home game from the Valparaiso softball team on Saturday, as rain throughout the day and into the night on Friday has forced the cancellation of the Crusaders’ scheduled single game against IPFW.
No make-up date has been scheduled as of yet, but the possibility does exist of a make-up date being set within the next two weeks. Valparaiso is scheduled to return to action on next Thursday, April 28, as the Crusaders host Big East leader DePaul at 4 p.m. at the Valparaiso University Softball Field.
