The two-time Horizon League champion Valparaiso softball program will be hosting three camps this summer, covering players at all grade levels.

Valpo's first camp will be a high school camp, held for players entering grades 9-12, from June 17-19. There are three options for camp registration: a residential camp, which includes all sessions, three nights of dorm housing, dinner on Sunday, all three meals Monday/Tuesday and breakfast and lunch on Wednesday, for $400; all sessions and lunch all three days for $225; or just the morning sessions for $115.

The Crusaders will host a grade school camp from July 15-17. There are two options for camp registration: all sessions and lunch all three days for $225; or just the morning sessions for $115.

Both the high school and grade school camps will include defensive and offensive skill work, while skill work for pitchers and catchers will also be held. Morning sessions will focus more on skill instruction and drill work while afternoon sessions will be more game like situations including scrimmages. This will allow participants to learn new drills and put their new skills to work during live action for Valparaiso University instructors to continue to help participants improve on the field.

The final camp Valpo will host is a K-2 camp, held July 22-24. The camp will run 9am-4pm all three days, with lunch included as well. This camp will include the introduction to basic softball skills as well as various other summer activities on campus. Campers need no previous softball experience, newcomers are welcome.
