When one door closes, another one opens, and that’s what has happened for the Valparaiso softball team.  Following the cancelation of the Crusaders’ scheduled tournament this coming weekend, head coach Kate Stake added a trip to Kissimmee, Fla. and the Rebel Spring Games to Valpo’s spring break slate.

Valpo will head down to Florida following the conclusion of the Colorado State Classic and enjoy a couple days of sun and warmth before taking to the field.  The Crusaders will open play at the Rebel Spring Games on Friday, March 13 with games against Bucknell and Albany.  A rematch against Albany and a game versus Niagara await on March 14, and the Crusaders will conclude action on March 15 as they take on South Dakota and St. Peter’s.
