Moulton Named Mid-Con Offensive Player of the Week for Second Time

For the second time in as many weeks, Valparaiso University's Lauren Moulton (Elgin, Ill./Larkin H.S.) has been recognized by the Mid-Continent Conference for her play last week.

The junior earned co-Offensive Player of the Week honors this week after leading Valpo of wins over DePaul, Western Illinois, and UMKC. She averaged 3.67 kills per game while hitting .308 in the three matches. She also added 1.20 blocks per game.

Moulton's week was highlighted by a 15-kill, seven-block performance against UMKC and a 17-kill effort against DePaul.

Moulton shared offensive honors with Oral Roberts' Ori Zuzic.

Valpo (14-3, 4-0 Mid-Con) will look to extend its eight-match winning streak on Friday evening hosting IUPUI at 7 p.m. at the Athletics-Recreation Center.
