Monday, September 27, 2004
Valparaiso University's Lauren Moulton (Elgin, Ill./Larkin H.S.) has been named the Mid-Continent Conference Offensive Player of the Week after helping the Crusaders to victories over Oral Roberts and Centenary last week.

The sophomore averaged 4.60 kills per game, hit .353, and added 2.20 blocks per game. She tallied a team-high 16 kills and added ten blocks in the win over Oral Roberts and added nine kills while hitting .778 against the Ladies.

Moulton is the second Crusader to earn Player of the Week honors this season, as Liz Mikos (Dundee, Ill./Jacobs H.S.) earned defensive accolades back on September 13.

Valparaiso will return to action on Wednesday evening as the Crusaders host DePaul in a 7 p.m. non-conference match at the Athletics-Recreation Center.
