Crusaders to Face Western Michigan to Close 2008 Season
Tuesday, November 25, 2008

Valparaiso will close out the 2008 campaign this Saturday evening, as the Crusaders travel to Kalamazoo, Mich. to take on the host Broncos of Western Michigan University as part of the Bronco Thanksgiving Challenge.

The Crusaders will be looking to reach the 25-win plateau for just the sixth time in program history.  However, it would be the fourth time to reach the milestone under current head coach Carin Avery, all in the last six years.  Valpo is also looking to maintain its position atop the national rankings in both kills/set (15.24) and assists/set (14.18).

Western Michigan enters the weekend at 25-5 and will face Marquette at 6 p.m. CST on Friday before taking on Valpo.  The regular season MAC champions lost in the league title match this past weekend to Ohio.
