Valparaiso University senior outside hitter Allison Ketcham (Mishawaka, Ind./Marian) was named to the Missouri Valley Conference All-Tournament team on Saturday at the tournament’s conclusion.

Ketcham was strong on both sides of the ball for Valpo in its pair of MVC Tournament matches. In Thursday’s victory over Missouri State, the program’s first-ever MVC Tournament win, Ketcham tallied 17 kills, 21 digs and four blocks. Then, on Friday against eventual tournament champion UNI, Ketcham led Valpo with 17 kills on .268 hitting and added 19 digs as well.

For the tournament, Ketcham hit .229 and averaged 3.78 kills/set, while also picking up 4.44 digs/set in the back row. The senior also received 73 serves without committing a reception error as well.

For Ketcham, Saturday’s selection to the All-Tournament Team was the second postseason All-Tournament accolade of her career, as she was previously named to the Horizon League All-Tournament Team as a sophomore in 2015. Overall, Ketcham has picked up seven All-Tournament awards in her career.
