            Valparaiso University’s Agnieszka Kulaga (Tarnow, Poland/I Liceum Ogolnoksztalcace H.S.) has been named to the Horizon League’s Academic All-Conference Team in women’s basketball.

            A Second Team All Horizon League selection, Kulaga was a three-time Player of the Week honoree.  She also was a Second Team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District V pick.

            One of five players selected to the squad, the junior guard finished fifth in the Horizon League in scoring averaging 14.6 points per game.  Kulaga also was fifth in the conference in assists (3.6 apg) and sixth in steals (1.9 spg).

            Kulaga finished the season ranked 32^nd in the nation in free throw percentage, connecting on 84.6% of her attempts, a mark that was second best on in the conference.

            In the classroom, Kulaga maintains a 3.78 cumulative grade point average majoring in international business.
