Valparaiso women’s basketball head coach Tracey Dorow has announced that Tabitha Gerardot (Fort Wayne, Ind./Canterbury), Shaquira Scott (Wilmette, Ill./Loyola Academy) and Maegan Callaway (Mooresville, Ind./Mooresville) will not be returning to the Valpo program next season.

Gerardot, who was a Second Team All-Horizon League selection this past season, started all 31 games and averaged 15.5 points and 9.2 rebounds per game for the Crusaders as a junior. She posted 12 double-doubles on the year and stands seventh on the VU all-time scoring list and fourth on the rebounding list.

Geradot will graduate this spring with majors of French and Spanish and wants to pursue a Master’s degree in Linguistics.

Scott started 23 games for the Crusaders as a sophomore. She posted nine double-figure games and averaged 8.5 points per contest. She scored a career-best 22 points in a win over Milwaukee in January.

Callaway appeared in 19 games as a redshirt-sophomore and averaged 2.4 points per game. She scored a career-high 12 points against Butler in November and had nine points at Louisville in December.

“We appreciate what they have done for the program,” Dorow said. “We wish them all the best of luck in their future endeavors.”
