Valparaiso University's Carrie Myers (Stickleyville, Va./Lee H.S.) has been named the Mid-Continent Conference Co-Player of the Week following her performances this weekend that led the Crusaders to a pair of victories.

Myers drained seven three-pointers on her way to 21 points while adding three rebounds off of the bench on Saturday in a road victory over Oral Roberts. Monday night she tallied a career-high 29 points, making a school record nine threes to go along with three steals and three assists. She finished the game 9-of-12 from long range.

The sophomore averaged 25.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.0 steals, and 2.0 assists per game while shooting 64% (16-of-25) from three-point range.

Myers shared the honor with Southern Utah's Janis Beal.

This is the second weekly honor for the sophomore, as she won the award back on December 14.
