Fans are invited to follow along as the Valparaiso University women’s basketball team begins preparations for its international trip to China with a blog chronicling the adventures from the beginning of the 10 summer practices through the return to the United States following the trip.

Head coach Keith Freeman, senior Betsy Adams (Monticello, Ind./Twin Lakes H.S.), junior Laura Richards (Connersville, Ind./Connersville H.S.), sophomore Tabitha Gerardot (Fort Wayne, Ind./Canterbury H.S.), and freshman Mallory Ladd (Evansville, Ind./Memorial H.S.) will be sharing their perspectives on this once in a lifetime trip.

The Crusaders will depart for the trip on Aug. 5, returning to the United States on Aug. 15.
