Despite not competing since the last poll, the Valparaiso bowling program rose another spot in the March iteration of the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) poll, coming in at #11 this month.

Valpo has now been ranked in the top-20 in the nation in all ten NTCA polls since the program's introduction last season.  This month's ranking of #11 matches the Crusaders' preseason position, while Valpo has moved up the rankings in each of the last two polls.  In addition, the Crusaders gained 51 points from last month to this month and their 235 total points are their highest total of the 2010-2011 campaign.

Valparaiso competes in its final regular season tournament this weekend, as the Crusaders join 19 other teams at Vanderbilt's Commodore Classic.  Valpo is taking aim at one of eight berths in the 2011 NCAA Bowling Championships.
