Valpo Bowling Signs Sadie Jasinski to NLI
Sadie Jasinski, along with her parents, Jim and Lorrie, and her high school coach, Lori Schommer, signs her National Letter of Intent.

Valparaiso bowling head coach Shon Washington announced today that Sadie Jasinski has signed a National Letter of Intent and will join the Crusader bowling program as a freshman for the 2011-2012 campaign.

A four-year starter for Franklin [Wis.] H.S., Jasinski has served as team captain and been named team MVP.  Jasinski rolled anchor for the Sabers as they captured the District 1 Conference Championship each of the last two years, earning First Team All-Conference accolades as a senior after receiving Second Team honors as a junior.  Jasinski qualified for the National Junior Gold Scholarship Tournament this year, and finished in second place at the Wisconsin Scholarship Bowling Club Tournament in Nov. 2010.

“Sadie is a terrific addition to our program,” said Washington.  “She gives us a left-handed presence on the lanes and a great teammate off the lanes.  She is an extremely energetic and driven young lady.  I am confident she will do well academically and athletically in such a positive and supportive environment as Valparaiso University.  I would like to thank her parents, Jim and Lorrie Jasinski, and also her personal coach, Steve Michelfelder, for their support of Sadie while making her decision to attend Valpo.”
