The Valparaiso University bowling team will host its first of two home tournaments this year as the Crusaders welcome five other teams for the Crusader Challenge at Lynwood Bowl in Lynwood, Ill. The two-day tournament will start on Saturday morning at 9:15 a.m., while Sunday’s action will begin at 8 a.m.

The tournament features Augustana, Aurora, Elmhurst, North Central and #11 UW-Whitewater in addition to the host Crusaders. Saturday’s action will be in the five-game baker format, while Sunday will be traditional team games.

This weekend’s tournament is the third in four straight weekends of competition for the Crusaders to open the 2017-18 campaign.
