Forton, Bertermann Lead Valpo on Second Day at Arkansas State
Tremendous day-long performances from sophomores Hannah Forton (Macomb, Mich./Dakota) and Payton Bertermann (Grayslake, Ill./North) led the #RV Valparaiso University bowling team on Saturday in the second day of action at the Mid-Winter Classic in Jonesboro, Ark. Valpo picked up three victories on Saturday in the middle day of competition, moving up four spots in the team standings. Meanwhile, Forton earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team and both Forton and Bertermann surpassed 200 in all of their games on Saturday.

Valpo Bowling Recognized For Academic Excellence
Six members of the Valparaiso University bowling team earned All-Academic recognition from the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) for the 2017-18 campaign, while the Crusaders also earned academic honors as a team from the NTCA. The Crusaders have had at least three bowlers honored each year of the program’s existence.
