Valpo Bowling Announces 2019-20 Schedule

The Valparaiso University bowling team has eight tournaments on its regular season schedule for the 2019-20 season, highlighted by the hosting of the Crusader Classic at Lynwood Bowl in Lynwood, Ill. in early November.

Valpo opens the campaign in Harahan, La. at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Invitational Oct. 18-20, and then competes the next weekend at the Bearcat Open in Fairview Heights, Ill. Valpo then hosts a November tournament for the tenth straight year, welcoming teams for the Crusader Classic Nov. 1-3. This will be the third straight season Valpo has hosted this tournament in Lynwood.

A stretch of four tournaments in as many weekends concludes Nov. 8-10 at the Warhawk Classic in Madison, Wis. Valpo then steps away from competition for two months before returning to the lanes Jan. 10-12 at the Stormin’ Blue and Gold Classic in Las Vegas. Two weeks later, Valpo heads to Chesterfield, Mo. for the Columbia 300 Saints Invitational.

The Big Red Invitational in Lincoln, Neb. is next on the schedule for Valpo, March 1-3. Regular season action concludes at the Columbia 300 Music City Classic in Smyrna, Tenn. on March 6-8. The Southland Bowling League Championship will be contested March 20-22 in Dallas, with the league’s champion earning an automatic bid to the 2020 NCAA Championship.
