Junior Laura Rolf (Rochester, Mich./Lutheran Northwest) earned a top-50 finish at the NCAA Championships for the second straight year Monday in Terre Haute, Ind., finishing in 48th position out of an elite field of 253 runners.

Rolf covered the 6K course in 21:10.4, cutting over 20 seconds off of her time from last year’s national meet run over the same course.  The junior finished just 20 seconds outside the top-25.  Texas Tech’s Sally Kipyego took top individual honors, crossing the line in 19:30.9.
