Junior Erika Pfaender (Pewaukee, Wis./Arrowhead) posted back-to-back rounds of 80 on Saturday to lead the Valparaiso women’s golf team on the first day of the Indiana Invitational in Bloomington, Ind.

The Crusaders are in 13^th place after the first two rounds. Host Indiana is in the lead after 36 holes of play.

Pfaender is in a tie for 38^th place individually with a two-round total of 160.

Juniors Kelly Voigt (Palatine, Ill./Fremd), and Brianna Davy (Schererville, Ind./Lake Central) and sophomore A.J. Selig (Hortonville, Wis./Appleton West) all posted totals of 166 after 36 holes.

Valparaiso finishes up play with the final round of Indiana Invitational on Sunday.
