Valparaiso’s final round of play at the BGSU Falcon Invitational was canceled on Sunday afternoon due to high winds at Stone Ridge Golf Course in Bowling Green, Ohio.

The Crusaders finished with a 10th place finish after shooting 352 on day one.  Teams finished approximately 14 holes before play was halted for the day, with the final scores reverting back to Saturday.

Western Michigan was crowned the team champion with a total of 316, one shot ahead of Akron.  Western Michigan’s Britney Hamilton won the individual title shooting a 74 yesterday.

Valparaiso will return to action Friday through Sunday for the Horizon League Championships on Friday at Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. First round action begins at 9 a.m .CDT on Friday.
