For just the third time in program history, the Valparaiso women’s golf program will host a tournament at The Course at Aberdeen in Valpo, welcoming four other programs to town for the Crusader/Jaguar Challenge this weekend, April 12-13.

Valparaiso will split its roster into an ‘A’ team and a ‘B’ team for the event, while welcoming Green Bay, Indianapolis, IUPUI and Saint Joseph’s College to Aberdeen as well this weekend.  The tournament is scheduled for 18 holes each day over the par-72, 6,000-yard track, with a noon start on Saturday and a 10:30 a.m. start on Sunday, weather permitting.

The event will be scored as a match-play tournament, with each day featuring three separate matchups and all five players on the team counting towards the team result.  Saturday’s matchups feature Valpo ‘A’ vs. IUPUI, Valpo ‘B’ vs. St. Joe’s and Green Bay vs. Indianapolis.
