Crusaders Continue Play at Golfweek Program Challenge

Valparaiso continued play Monday in their season opening tournament at the Golfweek Program Challenge at Caledonia Golf Course in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

After tying her career low yesterday, junior Sibil Gill (Kokomo, Ind./Kokomo) led the Crusaders with a 77 as she finished day two tied for 23rd, while junior Annie Gaugert (Lake Geneva, Wis./Badger) shot a 79 to close the day tied for 36rd.

Rounding out the scores were sophomore Angie Kim’s (Schaumburg, Ill./Fremd) 82, freshman Katie Willenbrink’s (Mishawaka, Ind./Mishawaka) 81 and sophomore Sydney Shrum’s (Cloverdale, Ind./Cloverdale) 87. After 36 holes, they stand in 50th, 52nd and 58th place, respectively. The Brown and Gold finished the day in 12th place, shooting a 319 for the day and overall stand at 632.
