Tuesday, March 15, 2005
The Valparaiso University women's soccer team is holding several camps this summer at the Eastgate Soccer Fields.

The first camp, set for June 20-24 is an Evening Advanced Camp for high school players. The camp will be held from 5-8 p.m. The camp is designed to train individuals in technical and tactical aspects of their game. The camp will also allow the top players from the region and surrounding areas to meet and train with college coaches from around Indiana, providing an excellent college recruiting opportunity.

An Advanced Residential Camp will be held June 19-24 in conjunction with the Evening Camp. Training sessions will be held in the morning along with the evening. An afternoon seminar will include various sessions as well.

The next camp is a skills camp to be held from June 27-June 30 for girls ages 7-13. The camp will run from 5:30-8 p.m. and is designed to refine each player's technical skills while providing a solid foundation for learning the skills necessary to continue to grow and enjoy the game. The final camp, the Little Crusaders Camp, will also be held from June 28-July 1 from 6-7 p.m. Designed for boys and girls 5 and 6 years of age, the camp will serve as a fun introduction to the game of soccer for young players.
