Valparaiso's 2008 women's soccer recruiting class has been ranked third in the Horizon League according to soccerbuzz.com.

The website stated "In a year when Horizon recruiting is bunched tightly together, Valpo finds a mix to rank top three with signees from four different states."  

Joining the Brown and Gold this fall are Becky Clever, Brooke Henderson, Michell Nuccio, Candice Partee, Laura Romberg, and Tracy Roos.

Valpo is coming off of a fifth place finish in the Crusaders' inaugral season with a 10-9 record overall, the team's fourth straight winning season.
