Valparaiso University's Emily King (Colona, Ill./United Township H.S.) has been named to Soccer Buzz Magazine's Great Lakes Region Third Team as a midfielder the online magazine has announced.

King, the Mid-Continent Conference Tournament Most Valuable Player, led Valpo with 11 goals and five assists for 27 points on the season. The four-time All Mid-Continent Conference selection earned First Team honors each of the past two seasons and finished second all-time in school history with 21 goals and 52 career points.
