Valparaiso University junior goalkeeper Drew Moulton (Sycamore, Ill./Sycamore) has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season after blanking Missouri State in the Crusaders’ Valley opener last Saturday.

Moulton stood strong in goal, stopping seven shots – her second-highest save total of the season – to help the Crusaders secure all three points in their first conference action of the year. The clean sheet was Moulton’s third of the year in five starts in goal, and dropped her season GAA to 0.60 and raised her save percentage to .885.
