Quillen Named Recipient of MVC Postgraduate Scholarship
Former Valpo women’s soccer player Ali Quillen (Beavercreek, Ohio/Beavercreek) has been named one of four recipients of the Missouri Valley Conference postgraduate scholarship awards, as announced by MVC Commissioner Doug Elgin on Thursday. The $5,000 postgraduate scholarship is awarded to graduated student-athletes who have exhibited exemplary academic and athletic performance.

Valpo Drops 1-0 Decision at Drake in MVC Tournament
The fifth-seeded Valpo women’s soccer team battled toe-to-toe with fourth-seeded Drake in both teams’ Missouri Valley Conference Tournament opener Monday night in West Des Moines, Iowa, but in the end, a goal in the 16th minute proved to be the difference as the Bulldogs earned a 1-0 win to end Valpo’s season.

Valpo Takes Down UNI in Regular Season Finale, Heads to MVC Tournament as Fifth Seed
The Valpo women’s soccer team closed out the regular season in style Friday afternoon on Brown Field, scoring twice less than a half-hour into the match and adding another insurance tally in the second half to complete a 3-0 triumph over UNI. With the win, Valpo secured a berth in the MVC Tournament and will be the tournament’s fifth seed, traveling to take on Drake Monday night in first-round action.
