Valparaiso University women’s tennis head coach Jay Adams has announced his 2008 spring schedule of 18 matches, seven of which will be at home, including five at the Valparaiso University Tennis Complex.

The Brown and Gold will open the season at home indoors at Matchpoint Tennis Club on January 26 against Evansville.  The Crusaders also have a home indoor match against Bradley on the slate in early February, before Valpo heads to Orlando, Fla. for its spring trip in March.

The home outdoor schedule begins on March 19 against Indiana Wesleyan, with a non-conference home tilt with former league foe Oakland to follow.  Horizon League play begins for the first time on April 5 in Milwaukee.  This season, the Crusaders have home league contests with UIC, Wright State, and Cleveland State.

The Horizon League Championships will be held on April 25-27 in Indianapolis, Ind. with all nine league schools competing for the title.
