Valpo Falls at Indiana State on Tuesday

Valparaiso dropped its fourth straight dual match on Tuesday afternoon when the Crusaders fell to Indiana State 7-0 in Terre Haute, Ind.

The Sycamores began the day sweeping the doubles matches with a pair of 8-4 wins at the top two spots and an 8-1 victory at third doubles.

In singles action, Indiana State swept the six matches, winning five in straight sets. Jill Dierberg (Saint Louis, Mo./Lutheran South H.S.) won the first set 6-3 at fourth singles for the Brown and Gold before falling in set two 6-3 and losing the super tie-break 12-10.

Valpo (2-4) will look to snap their losing skid on Wednesday afternoon when the Crusaders entertain St. Mary's (Ind.) at Brown Courts. The match is slated to begin at 2:30 p.m.
