Junior Sarah Drozdowski (Roselle, Ill./Lake Park) set a new school record in the hammer throw at the GVSU Last Chance Meet in Allendale, Mich. on Saturday.

Drozdowski’s final throw of the meet was her best, measuring out at 177’ 3”. That toss bests Holly Hagen’s mark from 2005 of 177’ 0”.

Her distance tied Drozdowski for third at the meet.
