Valparaiso's women's track and field team is projected to finish fourth at the Mid-Continent Conference Indoor Championships in the preseason poll released today by the conference.

The Brown and Gold totaled 13 points in the voting, comprised of the league's six head coaches. Oral Roberts was a unanimous choice to capture the conference crown. Western Illinois and Southern Utah placed second and third, respectively, while UMKC and Chicago State rounded out the polling.

The Mid-Con Indoor Championships are scheduled to take place in Bloomington, Ill. on February 26-27.
