Crusader senior Ashley Billstrom (Hales Corners, Wis./Whitnall) concluded her outstanding career Saturday evening at the NCAA Mideast Regional in Columbia, Mo., placing 14th in the 3,000m steeplechase with a time of 10:47.16.

Billstrom's time was her second-fastest ever in the event, trailing only her school-record time of 10:40.38 at the Hillsdale Gina Relays, the mark which qualified her for the regional meet. The senior, who captured her second consecutive Mid-Continent Conference championship in the event two weeks ago, improved eight positions on her finish from last year's regional meet.
