Tickets are on sale now as the Valpo volleyball program prepares to host a Missouri Valley Conference tournament match, the program's first conference tournament match at the ARC in 20 years.
 
The Beacons' match date and opponent will be set following this weekend's final MVC regular season matches. Should Valpo finish as the tournament's second seed, it hosts a semifinal match Saturday, Nov. 22 at 6 p.m. If Valpo is the third or fourth seed, it hosts a first-round match Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 6 p.m.
 
Tickets for the MVC Tournament match are $10 for adults — including Valpo faculty and staff — and $5 for children 10 and under. Groups of 10 or more can purchase tickets at a group rate of $5 apiece. Valpo students can access their free ticket within their student pass in their digital wallet, while students at other MVC member institutions will be admitted free of charge by showing their school ID at the gate.
 
The volleyball team won its 20^th match of the season last weekend, the 19^th time in head coach Carin Avery's 24 years at the head of the program it has won at least 20 matches. The Beacons currently sit in second place in the MVC standings at 11-3 in conference play, and there's two more chances to catch them at home at the ARC to close the regular season — Friday evening at 6 p.m. against Illinois State and Saturday evening at 6 p.m. for Senior Night versus Bradley.
