Monday’s scheduled baseball game between Valparaiso and Robert Morris (Ill.) scheduled for Emory G. Bauer Field has been canceled due to rain and snow in the Northwest Indiana area.

The game will not be rescheduled. Heavy rains moved into the Valparaiso area on Sunday afternoon and with accumulating snow forecast for over night, the field would not be playable in time for a Monday afternoon game.

Valparaiso (10-14, 5-4 Horizon) will return to action on Wednesday afternoon when the Crusaders head to Bloomington, Ind. to face Indiana.  First pitch against the Hoosiers is set for 3 p.m. CDT.
