Constant, steady rains in the Indianapolis, Ind. area on Monday afternoon prevented Valparaiso from meeting Butler on the baseball diamond.

Per Horizon League rules, the games will not be made up.  This marks the sixth and seventh conference games this season the Crusaders have lost due to inclement weather.

Valparaiso (21-28, 8-8 Horizon) will wrap up the 2010 regular season this Thursday and Friday with a three-game weekend series against UIC in Chicago, Ill.  First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. on Thursday night at Les Miller Field with Friday’s twinbill slated for 1:05 p.m.
