Crusaders Danny Jeftich (Valparaiso, Ind./Valparaiso [IUPUI]) and Adrian Ortiz (Berwyn, Ill./Morton West) represented Valparaiso on the 2009 Horizon League Men’s Soccer All-Tournament Team, as announced by the league today.

Jeftich, a fifth-year senior midfielder, closed out his career with the Crusaders with an assist in Valpo’s win over Milwaukee and the lone Crusader goal in the semifinal loss against Green Bay.  Ortiz, a junior defender/midfielder, was a key component of the Crusader defense which registered a program-record eighth shutout of the season against the Panthers.
