Crusaders Announce 2007-2008 Track and Field Schedule

Valparaiso men’s and women’s track and field head coach Ryan Moore has announced the Crusaders’ 2007-2008 indoor and outdoor schedules. The season begins this Saturday, December 8, as the Crusaders travel to Normal, Ill. to participate in the Redbird Open.

Following the Christmas break, Valpo will compete in five more indoor meets, including a double dual meet with new Horizon League foes Milwaukee and UIC. The six indoor meets lead up to the Horizon League Indoor Championships, to be held March 1-2 in Kent, Ohio.

The outdoor season kicks off March 29 in Chicago, Ill. at the Ted Haydon Invitational. The Crusaders will race five of the following six weekends in preparation for the Horizon League Outdoor Championships, slated to be held May 9-10 at Youngstown, Ohio.
