Meacham Wins College Mile at OCU Stars Mile Night

Valparaiso University men’s track & field freshman Noah Meacham (Tulsa, Okla. / Broken Arrow) won the College Division mile at “OCU Stars Mile Night” on Saturday in Oklahoma after being invited to participate in the postseason race.

Meacham stopped the clock in 4:18.31, winning the race and posting the third-fastest time in program history in the outdoor mile. Meacham’s mile was the program’s fastest since Tom Kilcoyne’s record-setting run of 4:14.0 in 1977. Gary Schroeder’s 1971 time of 4:17.9 is second on the all-time list.
