Valparaiso University junior Michelle Robinson (Bloomington, Ill./Normal H.S.) has been named the Mid-Continent Conference Volleyball Player of the Week.

The outside hitter had the conference's first 20-20 match of the season when she posted 22 kills and 22 digs while hitting .333 against Penn at the Georgetown Classic. She came back against the host Hoyas and recorded 20 kills and 16 digs before concluding the tournament with a 13 kill, 16 dig performance against Long Island.

For the week, she averaged 3.81 kills and 3.94 digs per game while hitting .255. She was named to the Georgetown Classic All-Tournament Team for her efforts.
