A Third Team NJCAA All-American, Timmerman also was named to the NJCAA national All-Tournament Team, as Parkland went 28-9 last season.  In addition, she was a First Team All-Region 24 pick as well as a First Team All-Midwest Athletic Conference selection.  Timmerman helped lead Parkland to a sixth place finish in the national junior college tournament.

As a freshman, Timmerman averaged 10.1 points per contest as was named Freshman of the Year in the M-WAC.  A Second Team All-Conference pick, she also was a Special Mention All-Region 24 selection.

She also excels in the classroom, being named an Academic All-American this season and was a two-time Academic All-Conference Team member in the M-WAC.

Timmerman went to Pontiac High School where she averaged 12 points per game as a senior, leading her school to the regional championship.
